Terms of service

These general conditions of sale are agreed between Junicoders Unipessoal Lda., with registered office at Rua Alfredo Allen, 455-461 4200-135 Porto, tax identification number 517997886 and contact number +351 910 131 360, hereinafter referred to as "Junicoders", and persons wishing to make purchases through the website www.junicoders.pt, hereinafter referred to as the "User".

The parties agree that purchases made through the website www.junicoders.pt will be regulated exclusively by this contract, to the exclusion of any conditions previously available on the website.
 
 
ARTICLE 1 – OBJECT
 
1. These general conditions of sale are intended to provide and define all necessary information to the User regarding the methods of ordering, sale, payment, and delivery of purchases made on the website www.junicoders.pt.

2. These conditions regulate all the steps necessary to carry out the order and guarantee the follow-up of this order between the Contracting Parties.
 
 
ARTICLE 2 – ORDER
 
1. The User completes their order by concluding the purchase process presented on the website www.junicoders.pt, adding the product(s) they wish to order to the shopping cart.

2. To submit the order, the User must:
a) Register on the website www.junicoders.pt, providing the requested information.
b) Log in (providing the email and password combination chosen by the User at the time of registration).
c) Complete the information and choose the options made available throughout the checkout process (delivery and billing address, shipping method, payment method, as well as the NIF/Tax ID and name they wish to appear on the invoice for tax purposes).

3. The final confirmation of the order by the User is equivalent to full and complete acceptance of the prices and descriptions of the products available for sale, as well as these General Conditions of Sale, which will be the only ones applicable to the contract thus concluded.

4. Junicoders will honor orders received online only up to the limit of available stocks. In the absence of product availability, Junicoders undertakes to inform the User as soon as possible.

5. The data contained on the invoice is the sole responsibility of the User. Once issued, invoices cannot be reissued with changes.

6. Order requests are valid for 48 hours, unless the order is registered under a promotional campaign that defines a different period. Prices, discounts, promotions, and offers cannot be guaranteed beyond this period. If payment is not received within the aforementioned period, the order will be cancelled. Any amount received after this date will be refunded or applied to a new order.

7. It is the User's responsibility to ensure that the data entered is correct and complete, particularly the shipping address. If the customer makes a mistake in the address and the order is returned to Junicoders, the customer must request a new shipment and pay the respective shipping costs.
 
 
ARTICLE 3 – PAYMENT
 
1. On the website www.junicoders.pt, Junicoders offers the User the following payment methods:
a) Bank Transfer
b) Multibanco Reference
c) MBway
d) Payshop
e) Paypal / Credit Card

Orders must be paid within 48 hours, after which the order will be automatically cancelled. If payment is made after this period, we do not guarantee prices or availability.

In the case of Cash on Delivery (envio à cobrança), payment must be made to the carrier upon delivery. If the Client fails to make the payment, Junicoders, without prejudice to any other right or compensation, may:
a) Cancel the order or suspend deliveries or services;
b) Demand payment of shipping costs;
c) Allocate new payments made by the Client to prior debts, as it deems appropriate;
d) Charge interest on the amount overdue, from the date of default until full and effective payment, at an annual rate of 5% plus Euribor.
 
 
ARTICLE 4 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
 
1. The estimated delivery time for the order is a minimum of 24 business hours after order confirmation and respective payment within Mainland Portugal. This period is indicative and only applies to orders paid before 3:00 PM. Deliveries are carried out by MRW or CTT. Exceptions apply in situations of immediate stock shortages or potential failures within the transport companies.

2. Shipping costs are added to the order and can be consulted here.

3. All items are packed at Junicoders with the utmost care and are protected inside boxes with air cushions or paper. Therefore, we request that upon receiving the order delivered by our carriers, you check the condition of the box(es) and always note any anomalies detected during delivery (e.g., "Damaged box", "Box with marks of falling", "Box without Junicoders tape") on the courier's receipt sheet. Furthermore, whenever possible, check the contents inside the box(es) so that in the event of a damaged or missing product, a service claim can be filed immediately and insurance can be activated to cover all damages/theft.

However, if after accepting the order and while opening it, you detect any damage caused by transport or missing material, you must contact us via email immediately (on the day of delivery) with a detailed description of the damage and photographic evidence of the products in question, the box along with the carrier's identification/shipping label, and essentially our packaging used.

In case of failure to follow this process, Junicoders declines any responsibility.
 
 
ARTICLE 5 – PRICES
 
1. The prices displayed include VAT at the legal rate in force. If you are a reseller client, prices may be displayed without VAT after logging in.

2. The prices listed on this site are valid at the time of consultation, except for typographical errors or stock shortages, and may be changed without prior notice. If an error is found in the price of any product, the User will be informed immediately and may choose to receive their order (paying the difference) or proceed with its cancellation.
 
 
ARTICLE 6 – CANCELLATION, EXCHANGE, AND RETURN
 
1. The cancellation, exchange, or return process is handled on a case-by-case basis by Junicoders. The request must be sent in writing to the email info@Junicoders.pt within 14 days of the order, and instructions for cancellation, exchange, or return of the goods will be answered by Junicoders through the same means of communication.

2. Whenever possible, the refund will be made using the same payment method. If this is not possible, the user must provide their IBAN so that the refund can be made via Bank Transfer.

3. Returned products must be in their original sealed packaging, with manuals and accessories immaculate, and in the same conditions in which they were sold, as Junicoders does not accept the return of used products.

4. If the value resulting from the exchange of products in an order is lower or higher than its initial value, the adjustment conditions will be indicated by Junicoders.

5. Returns will not be accepted for articles whose outer packaging is opened, torn, or damaged.
 
 
ARTICLE 7 – PRIVACY POLICY
 
The processing of your data is carried out in compliance with personal data protection legislation. The data, subject to computer processing, will be stored in the Junicoders database(s) and is intended for registration, presentation of other products and services, as well as institutional information to be made available by Junicoders.

Providing this data is optional, and the right to access, rectify, and cancel any data directly concerning you is guaranteed by law, either in person or in writing, to the address listed on the homepage of this website.

ARTICLE 8 - USE OF COOKIES
 
Junicoders uses cookies to collect information about how visitors use its website. We use the information to compile reports and to help us improve the site. ARTICLE 9 - PRODUCT IMAGES
 
Due to potential changes by suppliers or product manufacturers, the images of some products on the site may not correspond exactly to the real product, while its core characteristics remain unchanged.
 
 
ARTICLE 10 - STOCK
 
Stock errors may occur in the Junicoders inventory. You must confirm the availability of any product before traveling to the physical store.
In the case of online purchases, if an order becomes incomplete due to a stock shortage, we will contact you to change it for another product, wait for stock replenishment, or leave the amount as a credit for a future order. If none of these options are to your liking, you must send us your IBAN via email to proceed with the refund of the amount in question.
 
 
ARTICLE 11 - JUNICODERS IN-PERSON COURSES
Registration for Junicoders in-person courses must be done through the website www.junicoders.pt, thus guaranteeing the student's spot. Payment can be made in full at the time of registration or, alternatively, monthly, by submitting the value via email, and the respective payment must be made by the 8th day of each month via Multibanco or bank transfer. The Junicoders educational kit, the payment for which is made upon registration, is delivered in the first class and includes all the material necessary to carry out practical activities.
 
The course comprises practical and theoretical classes, educational materials, tracking by specialized trainers, and three special thematic classes dedicated to Christmas, Carnival, and Easter. The academic calendar may be subject to changes due to force majeure, and any modifications will be communicated with due notice to parents, guardians, or participants.
 
Registration cancellation can only be requested up to 14 days prior to the course start date, and a refund of the amount paid will be issued, minus any inherent administrative costs. After the course has started, it will not be possible to refund monthly fees already paid, except in exceptional situations duly justified and approved by the Junicoders management.
 
 
ARTICLE 12 – JUNICODERS EVENTS
 
Participation in workshops, trial classes, themed parties, or other events promoted by Junicoders requires prior registration, which can be done through the website www.junicoders.pt or by direct contact with the organization. Full payment for the event is required at the time of registration.
 
Junicoders reserves the right to change dates, times, or the location of the event for operational reasons or force majeure, always communicating any changes to the participants. In case of cancellation of the event by Junicoders, the amount paid will be fully refunded or can be used as a credit for registration in another event. If the participant decides to cancel their registration, a refund will only be possible if the request is made up to seven days before the event takes place.
 
All material necessary for participation in the events is provided by Junicoders, unless otherwise indicated. During the events, participants must respect all safety guidelines indicated by the trainers or the organization, thereby ensuring their safety and that of the remaining participants.
